The RootX formula uses the aquatic herbicide Dichlobenil — a non-caustic, non-fumigating and non-systemic solution — to clear pipelines from root growth. It has a low environmental impact and, unlike similar products, RootX does not contain diquat dibromide, copper sulfate or metam sodium. It has low environmental impact and it is classified as a General Use product by the Environmental Protection Agency (#68464-1) as well as in Canada.

The RootX jar and funnel are designed for a simple professional application. There is no need for expensive costly equipment. Simply remove the round lid and twist in the mixing applicator/funnel. Shake the product and pour into the cleanout or toilet (See the RootX label or technical data sheet for detailed instructions).
